This viral video has a powerful message about the way you view your own flaws

Having body confidence and loving the way you look is something that comes with time, self acceptance and a lot of work - but as YouTuber and beauty guru Rachel Levin points out, if you wouldn't say something to your 8 y/o self, you shouldn't say it now.

In a viral video she made entitled 'I AM UGLY', Rachel stares at herself in a mirror, applies lipstick and mascara and starts to list all the things she hates about her appearance. She picks out all the things she thinks are flaws on her face - from her eyebrows to her lips - before smudging all her makeup off.

The mirror then disappears and is replaced by a child, who represents Rachel's most vulnerable and impressionable younger self, who questions what's wrong with her and why Rachel is pointing out all the things wrong with her appearance. It's a powerful message.

The video portrays how you should be as kind to yourself as you would be to anyone else ? you wouldn't slag off someone else for having dark circles, so don't do it to yourself. You wouldn't slate anyone else for having a unique nose, do don't do it to yourself.

Treat yourself the way you'd have liked to be treated by others when you were just a kid, and don't be afraid to accept yourself and what you deem as imperfections just as they are.

While you are in bed with your favourite escort you can try so many new things and positions, which would probably be a taboo subject for your girlfriend. You can let all of your fantasies come to life; maybe even throw some S&M into it! It's honestly all up to you.
